What Scoffers will Say
Through out chapter two of Second Peter, the Apostle has been focusing on what false teachers will look like. Now as we begin chapter three, his focus will be enlarging upon what they will say. Peter explains that they deny that God is involved in our world in any meaningful way. What is Day of the Lord?
The Apostle Peter begins to close out his second letter with encouraging the Church to be watchful concerning the Lord’s Coming. In this third chapter we are introduced to the term “The Day of the Lord.” Join us as we seek to discover what will happen on this particular day.
Living in Light of the End
The Apostle Peter has told us that the end of all things is coming. At the presence of Christ’s second coming this world is going to be radically changed. Changed by His Divine Power
There is a subtle lie often promoted in the Church, which says God does the saving and now that we’re saved, we’re responsible for the changing. As we begin a new study in 2nd Peter, the Apostle informs us that God not only saves, but He also changes us by His divine power. Join us as we discover God’s power to change a human life.
How to Never Be Deceived
The New Testament is very clear on the fact that the closer we get to the second coming of Christ there will be an increase of false teachers in the Church. What our study in Second Peter will provide for us, is important instructions on how not to be deceived. In fact, Peter will inform us that if we follow his instructions we will never be deceived.
