In Isaiah 6: 1-8, we encounter the holiness of God through the vision of Isaiah the prophet. We see that God is Holy, Holy, Holy, and in His presence, man is utterly unholy. But God, who is a sovereign and gracious Lord, has mercy on the sinner and revives the spirit that is lowly and contrite. He cleanses the iniquity of Isaiah, equips and calls him into the work of the ministry.
