Know God

Know God And Be Strengthened

You were created to know God in a personal way – to have a relationship with Him, through His Son, Jesus Christ. Build a personal relationship with Jesus today.

How to start a new life with God

“In Christ you are a new creation, old things have passed away, all things have become new.”

Realize that everyone has fallen short of God’s standard

You’re not alone, the Scripture tells us that all have fallen short; everyone has missed God’s ideal (Romans 3:23). A relationship with God starts with us acknowledging that we need God’s mercy and grace.

Recognize that Jesus Christ paid the penalty

God wants you to see that our penalty for our sin was placed on Jesus Christ so that we might live. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). The Lord Jesus Christ loves you so much that He died in your place so that you might live.

Receive the gift of Christ

A man asked the Apostle Paul, “What must I do to be saved?” Paul’s answer was simply, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31). If you would like to have a relationship with your creator, simply pray this prayer:

” Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and invite you into my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen. “

Did you pray this prayer?

How to read the bible.

“The Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword.”

Background of the Bible

  • The Bible is actually a collection of 66 different book and letters written by 40 different authors over a period of about 1,600 years.
  • The Old Testament was written before Jesus Christ while the New Testament was written during and after Jesus Christ walked the earth.
  • The books are not laid out in chronological order, so you won’t necessarily want to read straight through Genesis to Revelation.

Where to Start

The Gospel of John would be a good place to begin, and you may want to move over to the Book of James after that. If you would like to take a look at the Old Testament, we would suggest you read through the Book of Proverbs. This book was written by Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, and it is filled with great truths for living a better life.
