“In Christ you are a new creation, old things have passed away, all things have become new.”
You’re not alone, the Scripture tells us that all have fallen short; everyone has missed God’s ideal (Romans 3:23). A relationship with God starts with us acknowledging that we need God’s mercy and grace.
God wants you to see that our penalty for our sin was placed on Jesus Christ so that we might live. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). The Lord Jesus Christ loves you so much that He died in your place so that you might live.
A man asked the Apostle Paul, “What must I do to be saved?” Paul’s answer was simply, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31). If you would like to have a relationship with your creator, simply pray this prayer:
“The Word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword.”
The Gospel of John would be a good place to begin, and you may want to move over to the Book of James after that. If you would like to take a look at the Old Testament, we would suggest you read through the Book of Proverbs. This book was written by Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, and it is filled with great truths for living a better life.
