Why do we forgive? As Christians, the power to forgive doesn’t flow from our feelings or whether we think the person requesting forgiveness has earned it or deserves it. In the parable of the wicked servant, Jesus reveals the Father’s perspective and expectations concerning the role of forgiveness in the heavenly kingdom.
