It seems that the church today views women’s involvement through two extreme lenses. One takes the approach that women are to be barefoot, pregnant, and hidden from sight. The other wants to turn the entire day to day operation of the church over their control. But once again we find a wonderful balance in the Word of God. The Apostle Paul knew trouble was coming to the church at Ephesus. To head off that trouble, he leaves Timothy there to steer the church into a healthy direction.
