Covenants and Betrayals

We discuss the failure of Judas and Peter and Jesus introduces communion to His disciples. We learn that the Passover is all about Him and His New covenant.

The Passion of Christ

Here we see the deep love of God revealed as Jesus partakes of the cup of wrath for us. He the only way by which we might be saved from the consequences of our sins.

The Trial

Jesus is brought before the Sanhedrin for an illegitimate trial. The agenda is to see Him killed. Jesus warns of the judgement to come and we learn of the importance of have ones name written in the book of life.

Oil In Our Lamps

Christ continues His teaching on preparation for the coming kingdom. We learn that it is not enough to just be moral. There is necessity of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who is likened to oil. The Holy Spirit has various roles in His relationship with mankind.
