Harvest Kids

Our Priorities

Whether your child is joining us for a weekend service or on a Wednesday night, there are a few key things we emphasize.

Safety

The security and safety of your kids is our top priority! All children must be checked in to our system prior to attending. Children will receive a name tag with a parent’s phone number and a security code, and parents will receive a security tag with a matching code. This allows us to contact you during service if needed, and the security codes ensure a safe, secure pickup procedure. All volunteers have submitted to interview questions, a background check, and have provided references.

Worship, Prayer, and the Word

We believe that worship, learning from the Bible, and spending time in prayer is vital. Children will get to sing worship songs, learn the Word through reading and video lessons, and pray together. They’ll even learn to give offerings to God as we collect donations for Ebenezer Grace, a children’s home in Ethiopia that provides a home, food, education, and the hope of Jesus for children in need.

Fun & Fellowship

Of course we make sure to have fun! Life in Christ is vibrant and full, and we want our time together to reflect that. Your kids will have a great time singing, acting out passages of Scripture, doing crafts, and playing games, all while learning about the love and truth of God together.

Check In

When you arrive you’ll be greeted by one of our amazing Harvest Kids team members. You can check in your kids at the kiosk in the foyer, get your children’s name tags and your parent security tag, and take your kids to their classrooms.

First time joining us?

We’re so glad to meet you! Our team members can help you get registered and print your name and security tags. One of our Kids Directors can help you find the right classrooms and answer any questions you may have. To save time, you can also register online before attending.

Worship, Learning, and Fun!

Your children will have a blast singing worship songs, learning about the Bible and the love of God, playing games and making crafts, and spending time with our incredible volunteers. We use the Gospel Project curriculum to teach the story of God’s people in an engaging way for kids.

Pick Up

After service you’ll return to your child’s classroom and show your security tag to the teacher. They’ll ensure the code matches the one on your child’s name tag to keep the pickup process secure.

Note: Only adults are allowed to check a child out of their classroom.

On Wednesday nights we host the Good News Club, a Gospel-focused gathering for children in K-6th grade to meet in small groups, worship, memorize Scripture, learn lessons from the Bible, play games, and hear the Gospel. We hold three sessions of GNC during the school year. Childcare for infants – preschool is also available.

When GNC is not in session we provide a similar experience with Children’s Church. In June and July we take a break from Wednesday night activities as we prepare for Vacation Bible School.
