Ministry Updates & Prayer Requests
- With things changing quickly in the world, political tensions rising, conflicts and wars emerging in various places, we want to always be prayerful regarding what door the Lord might be opening, just as He did with the collapse of the Soviet Union over 30 years ago. Would you please pray for us as we desire to walk and serve in those places where the Lord is at work. We want to be training people for service in His fields wherever that might be. Things in nearby countries could be changing, and we need wisdom and boldness to understand the times and seize any opportunities that the Lord presents.
- For the many new Bible college students who are arriving at the end of August. May the Lord bless this semester with unity, may He fill us with His Spirit empowering us to serve Him in whatever way He desires. And may the Lord open the hearts and minds of students and staff to draw nearer to Him, to be more dependent upon Him than ever, and to be sensitive and obedient to His Word.
- For Josh and Rachel and the entire team of people who are serving children in Ukraine. May they have an understanding of how to communicate to these kids who have endured years of trauma and violence. May the Lord bring healing through His Word and times of joy and restfulness even through simple games and conversation. May He give wisdom and protection as they travel to different cities in Ukraine.
- Continued prayer for my mother and her health. We are encouraged by her trust in the Lord. Even as we are overseas, we desire to be able to assist both my mom and dad in whatever ways we can in this season of life.
- For us as we return to Georgia. Life hasn’t stopped since we left Georgia for the States this summer, and we will be returning to a full cycle of ministry, life, and action there. We were blessed to be a part of baptisms before we left, and while we have been gone there have been many weddings and new people coming to the church. We now have a problem with our new building in that it is already too small for us. So, we are prayerfully planning to begin a second service in September and looking foward to the planting of new churches as well.
