Impacting Culture

A casual assessment of how the Church today is impacting the culture will discourage most of us. It seems apparent that the culture is being far more effective in changing the Church rather than the Church changing it. Jesus said let your light so shine that when men see your good works they glorify your Heavenly Father. Our good works are the very thing that God uses to change the culture. In this final chapter of Titus, we learn what those works are. Join us in our study of Titus to learn how to let your light shine.

What to Avoid?

As we finish our study in the book of Titus, the Apostle Paul closes out with an explanation of what is toxic to a church. Today we see both toxic churches as well as toxic church leaders. Join us as we seek to learn what we need to turn our back on in order to keep us and our churches from falling into those things that will only hinder the plan of God in our lives.

Holding Fast to the Faithful Word of God

Titus found himself on the island of Crete left there to set the churches on a healthy course. To that end, Titus was instructed by the Apostle Paul to establish healthy church leaders. We discover that healthy leadership has little to do with ability. The spiritual health of a church is rooted in the character of those who are leading. And that character is rooted in a relentless grip on the inerrant Word of God. Join us as we begin our study in the book of Titus.

Titus was left on the Island of Crete to makes sure that the churches in every city would stay on course. Nothing will take a church or an individual off course quicker than misunderstanding of where our righteousness comes from. Join us as we continue our in-depth look at Titus chapter one, focusing on the Righteousness of Christ.

A Misrepresentation of God

All of us hate when someone misrepresents us. It seems clear that the Lord doesn’t appreciate being misrepresented either. What makes the next few verses that we come to in the book of Titus important is that they inform us on how God desires to be represented. Join us as we continue our study as we make our way through the opening verse of chapter two.

Who is Christ?

Perhaps the most important question in life is one asked by Jesus in Mathew 16:15. Jesus put it this way, “But who do you say that I am?” This is a question that has eternal ramifications. Where we find ourselves in our study in the book of Titus answers that very question. Please join us in Titus chapter two, as the Apostle Paul makes it crystal clear who Jesus Christ is.
