With the recent spike of cases in Allen County, as well as some cases among our Harvest family, we are wanting to remind everyone that our desire as a church is to serve the community, continually preach the Word, and equip the saints to serve in whatever capacity they can, especially during a pandemic. Here is a quick update on how we are responding, how you can help partner with us, and how you can pray.
How Are We Responding
Since the pandemic began, the staff and leadership have spent a considerable amount of effort, expense and time on making sure Harvest is as clean as possible. We have a company use UV Sanitation to weekly sterilize and clean our facility, we have purchased more antibacterial cleaning supplies, installed purification and filtering on our HVAC system, and make sure that we are mindful of cleaning any hard surfaces as often as we can. We will be spacing the seating in the sanctuary for the foreseeable future. On Sunday November 15th, we will be cancelling our Harvest Kid’s Ministry out of precaution and for the safety of our children and volunteers. We plan on resuming next weekend. We will follow up with everyone this coming week with further info.
How You Can Partner With Us?
We will continue to adhere to the governor’s mandate to wear a mask while inside the building and during the services and we ask that you partner with us in this. If you have tested positive for COVID, please refrain from meeting at Harvest, and we encourage you to stream. If you have been feeling ill in anyway, please utilize the live stream. We are also asking that if you are vulnerable, or if you have any concerns about meeting in person, that you would utilize the stream over the next few weeks. We realize it isn’t ideal, and that a stream can never replace the meeting of the saints in person. We are praying that God will lead you by His Holy Spirit and guide you through His Word.
How Can You Pray?
We encourage you in this season to pray, and to seek the Lord. There is division, there are families that are suffering, and there is a world that is lost and in need of a savior. I don’t know about you, but my heart has been heavy, and I have found myself just out of ideas or energy to do this all by myself, and I have been driven to prayer unlike any other season in my life. Would you join us in prayer this weekend? Pray for God to work in and through our lives, through our church, and that His will would be done.
