Pastor Chris Williams

In ministry since age 17, Pastor Chris Williams has been called and anointed of God to speak life into the body of Christ.  Born in San Bernardino, California, he hales from a line of Pastors.  His grandfather, the late Bishop M.L. Williams and his father the late Pastor M.J. Williams, former Pastor of Bethany Baptist Church of Oakland, California, provided Pastor Chris Williams an atmosphere conducive to him being able to heed the call of God for his life.

In his Twenty Four years of ministry he has been afforded the privilege of receiving formal theological training at several institutions to include California Baptist College of Riverside, University of LaVerne, Patten University of Oakland and in fall 2004 received a Masters of Theology Degree from Faith Seminary.

One of the high points of his life came at age 19, when he was called to pastor his first church, United Community Baptist Church in Ontario, California; Bestowing upon him the honor of being the youngest Pastor in the state of California.   Formerly serving in southern California afforded him the opportunity to be under the dynamic leadership and tutelage of Dr. Kenneth Ulmer, Author and Senior Pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church an 15,000 member congregation in Inglewood, California.

During his 24 years of ministry he has been blessed with the privilege of conducting revivals; ministering both nationally and internationally to churches throughout the country to include The Middle East and Africa and for a four year period was seen weekly in over 200,000 homes through the airing of “It’s Harvest Time a local bay area Tele-cast. Pastor Williams also serves as the City Director of City Team Ministries,Oakland a national organization that serves over 500,000 people yearly; providing homeless shelter, daily meals, drug recovery, medical care, career coaching educational advancement and various other community outreach programs. Pastor Williams has also served on numerous community Boards and community organizations.

In March 1998 Pastor Williams was led to plant Harvest Fellowship Baptist Church and has served as its Pastor since that time. He is the Father of two awesome young men Merkell and Evan.
